Asia Pacific online video to reach $55 billion by 2025
Jan 11, 2021 – Media Partners Asia (MPA) has reported that the Asia Pacific online video industry grew revenue by 14% Y/Y in 2020 to reach US$30.5 billion. SVOD overtook AVOD to contribute 53% of total revenues; AVOD contributed 47%.

Fuji TV selects Harmonic Cloud Playout for OTT delivery
Apr 8, 2018 – Harmonic (NASDAQ:HLIT) has announced that Fuji TV has deployed a playout solution from Harmonic for its SMART OTT service. Using Harmonic's VOS media processing software, Fuji TV is performing channel playout directly from a public cloud.

2.1 million digital TV subscribers for J:COM at end-Q1
Apr 28, 2009 – Jupiter Telecommunications (JASDAQ: 4817) has announced results for the three months ended March 31, 2009. J:COM TV Digital subscribers rose by 521,800 to 2,085,300 households with 424,500 HDR PVR contracts at the end of the quarter.
